Was trying to chase the aurora australis glow after being unsuccessful in 2024. Went up to Boambee headland and was mesmerized by the red and pink glow.

𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆

Bellingen, NSW

While driving to Dorrigo, NSW through Bellingen my wife said that would make a great photo, I'd driven past several times after and through I should have had a my Camera with me. A friend and I spend a day out shooting in February 25' and as we headed out of Bellingen we stopped here to take some shots. What an amazing paddock full of beautiful trees, this was the main driveway leading to presumably their home. I shot from the roadside with the Canon R5 and RF85L at f1.2 to get an amazing depth of field, there were some bush pidgins searching for food in the drive way which added to the shot. I love how the light acted as a spot light half way down.

Peterborough South Australia

We have been traveling for the past few months originating from Coffs Harbour through western NSW, Victoria Into South Australia and across the Nullarbor Plains to Western Australia where we have explored Esperance, Wave Rock, Busselton, Bunbury, and back to Kalgoorlie and back across the plain into South Australia Eyre Peninsula where we continued our journey down the coast to Ceduna, Streaky Bay, Coffin Bay & Cowell. We are heading back to NSW via Peterborough South Australia where this photo was taken after a day of refreshing and much-needed rain. This was after the rain as the sun set and a reverse sunset looking out the back of our caravan across the paddocks. We are now in Broken Hill for a few days before continuing on our journey home.

Glenelg Jetty, South Australia

It was a hot and balmy evening in Glenelg and the Jetty and Foreshore were alive with people. After walking out of the Jetty, I turned to see the Ferris wheel had been lit up. I set my camera to 1/4 sec. f8 ISO 100 as I approached and took a number of zoom bursts. This particular shot reminded me of the "Stargate" from the series of the same name.

Took this photo a few minutes after sunrise from my partner's balcony on the western edge of Bellingen's southside, looking over town. Was experimenting with a new toy, an adjustable neutral density filter. I had the filter dialed up and the settings on my Fujifilm X-T2 with Tamron 18-300 were f20, 1.1 sec, ISO100, +1.7 step, 161mm.

Valla Beach

Photograph taken with a drone during a beautiful Autumn morning, just before the sun broke through the horizon. Using a slow shutter speed I managed to capture the water's movement over the rocks.
