We got the smell of rain. Lasted as long as my video, I scared it away 😩

With only 150mm of rain in the last 12 months we are hoping on rain soon.
On Sunday a dust storm blew the roof off the machinery shed plus destroying the solar panels.
We are feeding sheep 3 times a week with grain & hay, keeping them alive in the hot dry place we call home.
Please Start dancing for rain in the western division of NSW everyone. 💃🕺🌧️🌦️

No Speed Limit Reductions – Stand Up for Country Roads

Recently, I asked the Minister for Roads and Regional Transport if the views of country people will be considered before any decision is made on the Federal Government’s proposal to lower the default speed limit on open roads from 100km/h to 80km/h.

This proposal would have an unacceptable impact on our daily lives. Longer trips mean less time for family, community and work. It would increase isolation, which already affects many people in the bush.

Now is the time to make your voice heard. I’ve launched a petition calling on the government to respect our ability to drive to local conditions and reject this nanny-state proposal.
