The Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre is officially complete and tomorrow is open day.
It features a state-of-the-art 1,000-seat theatre, 3,700 square metres of event/conference space, and two large exhibition halls.
The project created over 1,400 construction jobs and supports hundreds of permanent roles across hospitality and event services.
I've been following its construction and put together a quick vid condensing almost 3 years of construction into 2 minutes.
