Introducing Studio Saro.

I’ve been rearranging, styling and obsessing over interior spaces for as long as I can remember.
I even have this vivid memory of drawing house plans as a little girl.
It was technically a treehouse at the time, but still… the intention was there.

For 17 years my photography career gave me the chance to really understand people.
How they move, what they’re drawn to, their flavour, their energy.

I’ve always loved that part.

Reading people and translating who they are into something visual.
Now I get to carry that into the spaces they live and grow in.

Because a home isn’t just something that looks pretty.
It’s a sanctuary.
A landing place.
A safe exhale at the end of the day.
It should feel like you…. not like it was picked off a showroom floor or copied from a trend cycle.

Studio Saro is about creating interiors that feel personal, layered, and lived in. Spaces that support your life, hold your memories and evolve with you.
Beautiful…. Absolutely!
But more importantly, meaningful.

This is the beginning of a new chapter and I’m so excited to share the journey, the process, and the spaces that come to life along the way.

2024 was nothing short of intense for me.

I have seen myself for who I truly have become, shed layers of lack, built a backbone strong enough to carry excruciating pain and spoken the words ‘I love you’ into my own ears and my families more times than I have in my life.

I let go of everything that I had made my identity and what was (and still is) unveiling is a wonderful power, peace and presence that is allowing me to root into, one craggly stretch at a time.

I gave birth to my gorgeous daughter, and coming to know her quirks and sensitivities as she grows is immense and challenging… and the biggest privilege I have ever had.

I felt broken in half after two abdominal surgeries, only now starting to feel like I can hold my upper body steady recently. It’s a long journey to get back to feeling like a weapon again, but I’m being kind and slow with myself.

I am listening to the whispers of what wants to come through me next, my god I have a lot of creative power. The challenge has always been for me to execute all the way, so my most important goal for the next year and beyond is to keep myself accountable and get out of my own way and just DO it.

I want 2025 to be lighteness, play, experimentation, joy, adventure, recognition, love, surprise, solidity, friendship, creation.

So it is.
