Speechless. Saturday was a dream. 1400 photos from 16 photographers. An absolute pleasure organising this exhibition. There were some funny things written on the Debaser Scroll.

Last night Oscar said ‘Saturday night is premium weekend real estate’ You should spend the 23rd celebrating Debaser. 25 events are being condensed into a photobook celebrating the bands, art and punters. I’m curating a chronological show of artefacts from the events. and as always, live bands, DJ’s and many smiles. All welcome, tickets through Debaser, and you can preorder a book with your ticket if you like! Limited copies!

Honey I’m home! Refreshing to be back in Sydney after a few months abroad. Moved into a new space in Newtown which has beautiful natural light (silly test shoot pictured) Back and taking bookings. This shoot with Amber was a little different. The first image is shot on a 1940s crown graphic. Using a graphex press back. This back holds 6 sheets of 4x5 Film, and leaves an imprint on the film of the shot number. Check down the bottom of the first frame 😲Large format has such a special look and I wish I shot it more. The MacDonald valley is a few hours North West of Sydney, I’d had the second shot in my head for some time. The Valley had these incredible steep cliff faces that hold the light in the right shape for about 20 minutes. Small window but we made it work. Anyway Amber releases “Limelight” soon and this is the single cover, yay!

Often I find it weird to take photos when travelling. Feeling that the only story I can tell is the one of myself plodding through a foreign landscape. But that’s ok, I think I’ve enjoyed travelling as a means to figure out what work I want to make when home. Anyway, here’s 3 snapshots. Love to all ❤️
