Yesterday was this amazing soulful sunshine bean woman's birthday, and we did celebrate her properly. Chanel is a dear friend who has always been there with her positivity, care and gentle ways. She truly listens and understands all different perspectives, and she lives her life with abundance and love. She's truly an energy and confidence booster, an amazing fellow photographer, nature ranger and an intuitive body worker. She has so much to offer!
I'm telling you, you should all have a friend like her… she is pretty awesome! Chanel, thank you for being on this earth and blessing us all with your presence. Truly remarkable, you are!

Look closer. Every freckle, every scar, every soft imperfection is a record not a flaw to be edited out, but proof of a life lived outside a filter. We have been taught to smooth ourselves into sameness. This is the opposite of that. This is skin as landscape, not liability.

Skin is not a uniform. Two bodies, two textures, two histories… leaning into each other without apology. We spend so much energy trying to match some invisible standard, forgetting that contrast is what makes a body worth looking at. There is no “normal” skin.
