Just us here in our local creek... still enjoying the pregnancy hormone vibes. I love the future we are creating. I'm feeling very grateful every day.
Photos taken with my trusty tripod and some crazy running dogs... glad to say it handled it well and the camera survived! I haven't picked up my photo tools in a month now, so for a little while longer you'll see photos from my endless photoshoot archive, until I go into hibernation mode. This is a personal one to break that matrix!

One hour. Studio + street. Zero limits with this legend!⚡
Had the absolute pleasure of shooting with the endlessly creative Dilja, Cairns-based mixed-media artist and event producer currently deep in the thick of bringing immersive, imagination-led experiences to life (if you've wandered through her Neon Space Garden at Cairns Children's Festival, you know exactly what we mean).
Between events and art making, she still made time to jump in front of the camera with me, and we packed studio-funk and outdoor-grit into 60 fast minutes… a set that's honestly just... her. Bold, textured, a little unexpected, same energy she brings to every space she builds.
She's also just one of those genuinely good humans… a dear friend, and honestly one of the best parts of this job is getting to collaborate with incredible, creative people I already love. 💛

Yesterday was this amazing soulful sunshine bean woman's birthday, and we did celebrate her properly. Chanel is a dear friend who has always been there with her positivity, care and gentle ways. She truly listens and understands all different perspectives, and she lives her life with abundance and love. She's truly an energy and confidence booster, an amazing fellow photographer, nature ranger and an intuitive body worker. She has so much to offer!
I'm telling you, you should all have a friend like her… she is pretty awesome! Chanel, thank you for being on this earth and blessing us all with your presence. Truly remarkable, you are!
