I live with my husband and three children on a remote cattle property in far south western Queensland. Growing up in Gympie I was never that interested in photography. It wasn't until I moved out west and was exposed to the diverse landscapes and th
en having children that I found myself inspired and my passion for photography grew. Since then, I have never looked back and my camera has become almost another limb. Photography gives me another reason to get out and enjoy the outback and has given me a sense of self purpose to create something for myself away from the everyday jobs on a station. Through my photos I like to express my feelings for the country I live in and nature’s wonders as it spreads across this vast land whether it be through drought or flood. My primary art interest is landscape photography, although I do love to get out to local rodeos, gymkhanas and camp drafts capturing the thrills, spills and characters of outback events. I was never one for writing, so photography is my way of sharing my story and passion. People say a picture tells one thousand words and I strongly believe this. I am inspired by the essence and beauty and the ever changing colours of the landscapes that surrounds me every day. This is Queensland's Outback through my lens - the way I see it.
