Hi Scott,
You asked if we have a mood board for the day and to be honest, it's your portfolio.
We love your documentary shooting style and what your said on your website that 'the best photos will be the ones you didn't know were being taken'
We hope to be good subjects for you in the day.

This is the job. Getting married. Let's talk.

Grace and Kane were the kind of couple you feel lucky to spend a day with.

Kane was quiet at first. Composed. Hard to read. I wasn't sure what was going on behind those eyes.

But then the vows happened. And the speeches. And slowly, piece by piece, I got it.

He's a big softie. Just a really, really good human who loves his person more than he knows what to do with.

And when the first dance came around and he lost it completely — I looked over at By Lucy — Wedding Day Content Creation and we were both hanging on by a thread.

That sunset didn't hurt either.

Grace and Kane, you were an absolute joy. Thank you for letting me in.

Scenes from Bali.

The tropical oasis really turned on the heat on for this one… but Sof, T, and their crew just got on with it like acclimatised locals.

The entire wedding crew was from the land of the long white cloud. Easy going, welcoming, up for a laugh from the moment I arrived. I’ve always thought Kiwis have the best sense of humour… and these guys didn't dissappoint.

Sof and T were just a joy to be around all day. Great energy, lots of laughs, Sof’s smile beaming all day. The best vibes from start to finish.

So many special moments from this one not to share. Part 2 of this wedding is coming very soon.

There’s something about this moment that always feels a little bit magic.

Ali and Max, just married, walking back down the aisle with the biggest smiles. That mix of relief, joy, and we actually just did that. Their closest people all around them, the harbour sparkling behind, and their daughter Ruby there to witness it all.

It wasn’t grand or over the top. Just a backyard, a perfect autumn afternoon in Sydney, and two people completely wrapped up in each other.

These are the moments that matter most. Not just how it looked, but how it felt - and this one felt pretty special.

Tammy & Tarry got married at the Pyrmont registry with just 10 of their favourite people.

No big production.
No pressure.
Just something that felt like them.

After the ceremony, we skipped the harbour views (not their thing) and wandered the streets instead.

And honestly… it felt perfect.

This is the thing I keep seeing —
the smaller and more intentional a wedding is,
the more it actually feels like something.

More time together.
More connection.
Less noise.

Tammy & Tarry are two of the most down-to-earth, kind, fun people you could meet…
and their day reflected that in the best way.

If you’re planning something small, or doing things a little differently —
you’re probably on the right track.

You don’t need to perform on your wedding day.

You don’t need to know what to do with your hands.
You don’t need to practice your smile.
You don’t need to “be good in front of the camera.”

The best photos don’t come from doing things for the camera.
They come from being present in the moment.

That’s why I don’t give you a script.
I don’t turn your day into a photoshoot.

I just create a space where you can relax…
and then I pay attention.

Because the real stuff — the in-between moments —
that’s what you’ll actually care about later.

Does that feel more like you?

20/03/2026

I’ve been seeing couples spend hours emailing photographers just to find out who’s available.

One bride said it felt “disheartening” finding people she loved… only to realise they were already booked.

So I built something simple to fix that.

You can check availability first — before reaching out.

If you’re planning right now, I’d love to know what you think.
