Michael Roses Photography Fashion and portrait photographer based in Brisbane

Self-taught photographer, born in 1984 in France, I've spent all my childhood in DRC (DR Congo), surrounded by a family of artists. After spending most of my young age singing and playing the guitar, I've discovered at the middle of my twenties, an attraction for photography, the “golden age” fashion photographers and their models. My aim is to make my work easily identifiable; it mixes up many sides of my personality: particularly my “joie de vivre”, and “amour de l’être humain”, which lead me to produce strong images.

Few weeks ago I had a sort of revelation.
Over the time, I tried to change my imagery style to fit the industry expectations. But I forgot that what I loved the most in photography was the connection I had with my subjects, and my cinematographic approach of this art.
Thanks to my latest photoshoots, I had the chance to experiment that creative side again and captured some good stuffs.
