This is a post I never in a million years thought I would be writing but life’s unfair and it’s just shown how fu**ed it can be.
Hunter was taken to ED on Monday after random bouts of vomiting and starting to complain of a headache at the back of his head amongst other things.
We couldn’t have expected what was next…
He has a tumour brewing in the brainstem.
Rushed to Perth that afternoon to go under surgery and have a shunt in to relieve the pressure building up before it did more damage.
Results didn’t come back good.
My gorgeous boy has cancer.
This particularly cancer is terminal. It’s aggressive. It cannot be operated on and chemo doesn’t touch it. Radiation can slow it but that’s about the best we’ll get; a slightly longer life for him.
In his best interest to not make him go through anymore that what he has I have decided he is best to ride it out short, sweet and as comfortably as possible meaning no radiation.

My boy, my works can’t describe how heartbroken I am for you right now 😞

Please over the next few weeks refrain from messaging or visiting myself or our family while we spend the last of his time making happy memories with my boy and just doing the things he loves as normally as possible. We also ask that this is not shared knowledge to the outer world. If we see you out, i am more than happy to chat about life and the weather around Hunter to keep him protected.

There will be a hold up with photos from Harvey Dickson and possibly will no longer be attending The Muster due to personal reasons. If you have ordered photos I will get to them when I can (I don’t know what time frame at this stage)

With the news of Reece and his family about to face the biggest battle yet, but it won’t be the end for this cowboy!
