An exciting week with the "Australian Professional Photographer Award" taking place in Melbourne.
And we recieved exciting news!
"Silver Distinction" was awarded to Norina Jane for her interpretation of elopements in the Whitsundays, captured from the air as her wedding couple departed our spectacular Whitehaven Beach.
Norina then went on to receive a second "Silver Award" for her capture and interpretation of a bride (congratulations Judy!) at none other then the beautiful Botanica Weddings.
With 30 weddings to shoot over the coming few months, we look forward to many more award winning moments to capture for next years annual awards (-;

A special mention to this groom, Kane.
Kane came out of hospital the morning of the wedding and despite being very unwell and in a lot of pain, he was determined to hold his head high for his bride and to ensure the best possible memories for his wedding day. I honestly did not think that he would make it through the day and I was wrong! A beautiful day, forever memories and a happy bride! Congratulations Crystal & Kane xo

Hannele & James eloped (just the two of them), an intimate wedding ceremony on Whitehaven Beach before their seaplane flew back over the spectacular Coral Sea Ocean to mainland Airlie Beach.
