For a few minutes, the setting sun caught the edges of the storm clouds and lit up the gums below.

Quiet paddocks, bare trees and fading light over the Brindabellas. The sort of evening that reminds you Canberra has its own kind of beauty — understated, rugged and easy to miss if you're always rushing somewhere else.
