Perfectly imperfect. Can edit away every imperfection in a photo? The likely answer is yes. Should I? The answer is no. This bride has a scar on her arm. One click and I could make it disappear. I asked her at this exact moment, she said no - it is who I am. Great answer.

Will I edit away blemishes that are not part of your every day appearance? If I can, of course I will. But if it is part of you and your perfectly imperfect body. It stays.

I love that moment on a cloudy day when God decides to shine a little moment of golden light on your right in the last moments of sunset. It is almost more special that having a fantastic sunset the whole time because those few minutes are precious and special and so glorious and my heart rejoices in the gift.

A big thank you to the patience of these two trying to find a time to make it all happen for them. Can't wait to do it all again in August with all the special people present.

The colours are still popping on Canberra’s city lake front and we took full advantage for Alannah and Scott’s warm up session in preparation for their end of year nuptials. It was warm and not even a hit of a breeze. Feeling all the feels in these images. Can’t wait for the big day.

A gorgeous autumn day to end this wedding season. The leaves are late in changing most places but the gorgeous Poacher’s Pantry put on a specular sunset of colour for Mel and Gary’s union.

A morning of cultural traditions and the most festive tea ceremony I’ve ever been too. So much laughing and joking and honour given between generations.

Then on to the celebrations with family and friends, many who came in from Hong Kong. The award winner being Gary’s grandfather who, at 92, made the journey over to celebrate with the family.

Thanks to the team at who always make the day easy with their amazing service.
