Meet David and Lachlan from True North Mortgage Solutions, Canberra-based mortgage brokers helping clients navigate the complexities of property lending. 👋

With over 24 years of experience as a Mortgage Broker, David brings a wealth of knowledge to the team, while Lachlan, Client Services Manager has now become an Accredited Mortgage Broker after completing his Cert IV over the past few years.

A recent highlight for the team was helping a couple navigate challenging circumstances to secure their new home just three months after experiencing financial hardship—far sooner than they ever thought possible. A meaningful win that helped them begin their next chapter together. 🏡

Part 2 of the madness behind the scenes as we hustle to bring our brand new workspace to life in Building 5 here at Dairy Road. 💪

We're putting the finishing touches on the other half of the building that's been under construction over the last few months. And when those doors open, we'll have 8 more offices and 2 shiny new meeting rooms to show off 🤯 and the whole building will be alive and complete end to end! (and Anna Trundle can sleep again).

Meet Will, Lili, and Kurt behind Kendall Consulting. 👋

Founded in 2024 by Will, after he spent 10 years working in larger consultancy engineering firms across Brisbane and Canberra. After starting a family, Will's goal was to create something a little different: a small, boutique engineering consultancy that focuses on practical advice, consistency, and genuine care across every project.

Kendall Consulting works across residential, commercial and government projects throughout Canberra and beyond, solving complex challenges through practical thinking and creative problem-solving.

👉 What's a recent highlight you'd like to share?
"We’ve recently worked on some exciting projects, including a raise-and-build-under project at Palm Beach on the Gold Coast, where an existing home was lifted 5 metres above the ground to create a new lower level above the flood zone."

👉 Tell us a fun fact about the business:
While Will is based at Keep Co, Kendall Consulting is a completely remote team. Will’s sister, Lili, supports the administrative side of the business from the Gold Coast, their senior draftsman works from Brisbane, and Kurt (Will’s wingman!) is based in Wollongong—making the trip to Canberra every month or so.

For Will, Keep Co has been the perfect place to create a work-life balance. He loves that it feels more like a community than a corporate office, with friendly faces, like-minded businesses, and a calm environment to get work done. Oh, and of course, the little extras like the pancake breakfasts and espresso martinis on tap—the icing on the cake! 🎂
