Part 2.

One of my favourite things about portrait photography is watching people relax in front of the camera. The poses are beautiful, but it’s often the smiles, laughter and little moments in between that I enjoy capturing most.

Four wonderful ladies, beautiful bridal dresses, and one afternoon where my camera could play a small part in supporting a good cause.

Still grateful for the opportunity to use something I love to serve others.

Really happy to have been part of this one.

I had the pleasure of photographing this campaign for Australian Red Cross ACT, working with four lovely ladies and a wonderful team at Hotel Kurrajong Canberra.

Photography is always more meaningful when there’s a story behind the images—and even more so when it supports a good cause. We had beautiful dresses, plenty of laughs, and lots of candid moments between the posed shots that ended up being some of my favourites.

It was such an enjoyable day behind the camera, and I’m grateful to have contributed in my own small way.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others.” — 1 Peter 4:10

A little reminder to use what God has given me, wherever I can, to serve others.

The Reclink Cup is back!

My favourite part is there are plenty of drinks after training. But, I was only on the sidelines taking photos, but that still counts as getting involved, right?

A bit of footy, a bit of music and plenty of laughs. They did try to recruit me into the team, but I think I’ll politely pass on that one. I’m probably more useful with a camera in my hands than a footy.

Looking forward to the real thing!

this time for Canberra Hospital Foundation.

A beautiful story about helping make hospital visits a little easier for kids like Archer. This one was a little different — less posing, more capturing the moments in between. Plenty of smiles, a little curiosity, and one young superstar who made my job surprisingly easy.

Sometimes the best cover photos happen when everyone simply forgets there’s a camera in the room.

BTS of last week’s Canberra Weekly cover shoot with Dr Ellen McKenzie, Canberra Psychology Services, and her four-legged companion, Jixx.

A meaningful story, a relaxed shoot, and a very photogenic Jixx who clearly understood the assignment. I came to photograph Ellen… but I’m pretty sure Jixx thought it was his cover shoot.

And if your LinkedIn photo is still from five years ago… maybe it’s time we had a chat.

Sometimes nature creates its own composition.

A tree full of Sulphur-crested Cockatoos at Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve, each finding their own branch, with flashes of yellow bringing the whole scene to life.

One of those moments where you just raise the camera and let nature do the art direction.

Stories through my lens… so far, so good.
Still exploring, still creating, still loving every click.

Let’s keep clicking and see where the next frame takes me.

A little country escape with plenty of characters along the way. Farmers, dogs, ponies… and one duck who clearly thought the photoshoot was all about him.

Sometimes the best portraits happen when you simply wander, chat, and see who decides to pose for the camera.
