being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts; a daydream. Losing yourself in thoughts while making pictures can produce memories that last. And in these thoughts, the eye, the mind, and the heart come together to produce pictures forming a narrative in a diaristic approach, being stubbornly curious on the way people communicate their language of love, the spontaneity and urgency of actual life, all in a state of reverie. Capturing these subtly because invisibility is the greatest hack of the photographer. To quote the great Rene Burri, “Importance of technique is obvious, just like any other craft. But technique should never be intrusive, and craft should never distract. The means should clarify, and not confuse, the end.”
Being called a wedding photographer gives a slight itch in our brain and limits us from all the possibilities that we can achieve. We never want to be inhibited. There are no definitions, no dividing lines. There is only art and love.
