Good Evening All!!

I can confirm the U7s Gala Day was a massive success!!

It was awesum to see all our District U7s running around on the hallowed turf of Campbelltown Stadium.

60 teams playing a total of 60 games.

There were some great length of the field tries and there was some excellent tackling techniques.
There were a few tears, a couple of bumps and bruises and 1 or 2 tackles around the nose, but overall there were a lot of happy Kids!

At the start there were some nerves from some of the Kids. There were also a lot of Kids that just hit the ground running from the 1st whistle. Then there are those small percentage of Kids who have been waiting for this day all Season. The Kids that just run it straight and are the first ones in the tackle. They just love the contact and getting in the collision. Today they went beast mode with some of the tackles they made. I cant wait to see there development and where there game will be in around 7-8 Seasons if they keep that same mindset!!

Also just a quick shout out to all the Parents and supporters that were at the Stadium today. The encouragement being yelled out was awesum!!

Good Evening All!!!

After a longer than planned delay in Junior Footy the last 2 weeks, we are back this weekend and ready rumble.

Round 8 means we have turned the corner and we are about to start the 2nd half of our Season. Round 8 also means our U7s have graduated from their tackle ready program. They will replace the tags with shoulders. And they will be doing it at the HOME of footy in our District, Campbelltown Stadium!

Good luck to all our lil U7 Champions tomorrow at their Gala Day. Also a massive good luck to all Clubs hosting tomorrow. The weather looks like it will turn on a great day. To all the away Clubs playing tomorrow, best of luck and enjoy the away experience.

Also please be a little patient in the line at Canteens as a lot of hosting Club volunteers will be attending the Gala Day so resources will be stretched.
