Good Evening All!!

What a huge day!! What a great day!!!

Our 2026 Prelim finals are done and dusted. I was down at Eschol Park today and with both fields operating I was alternating between fields. A massive thank you to Dom, Si, Shane, Try and the rest of the Magpies Committee and Crew for putting on a well run day. Also thank for always going out of your way to accomodate me throughout this Season when I come down 🖤🤍

Today was a mixed bag. A couple of nasty injuries, some great individual performances, the odd sin bin and the last game of the day went to Golden Point! Commiserations to all the teams that had their Seasons ended today. 1 game short of the Grand Final will always hurt. But Kids, turn that hurt to motivation. Have a wee break next month then rip into pre Season training determined to go one better and earn that spot in the GF in Season 2027.

My final Gameday pic today is of the winning teams of the games I shot. Congratulations to you all!! But making the Grand Final is only the start. Winning it is going to take a whole lot more effort and desperation than you have ever given this year. Train smart this week. Defensive patterns will be the key. Awaiting you is the opposition that have been resting this weekend, healing all those bumps and bruises and getting ready for the battle of all battles!!!!

Good Evening All!!

All of our Minor Finals series are now complete.

I was down at Wood Park today with Ingleburn RSL Tigers (Official Club Page) hosting the U13s and U15s Minor Finals. With consistent showers all morning it was tough going for all teams with ball security tough and higher than usual handling errors occurring, it was a tough grind at times.

Commiserations to all teams that came up short today and ended their Seasons. It may take a little while to get over today but I hope the hunger stays in the belly and your Season in 2027 is bigger and better.

Congratulations to all the winners today who have now earnt next week off. Good time to rest the bumps and bruises and sit back and observe who your opponents will be after next weekends Major Semi Finals.

Good Evening All!!

Firstly an apology. Im sorry! Im sorry but our District just does it better!!!

Today we said farewell to Season 2026 for our U8s with another great Gala Day. Like last week, todays Gala day had it all. There were outstanding tries, some great tackles, a couple of bumps and bruises, 1 or 2 meltdowns and the odd tantrum but overall a fantastic day for our 8s.

Thank you to Allstars for hosting and providing everything our Kids needed. The canteen was pumping and the fields excellent. All the Clubs marquees around the grounds was awesum. Another big thank you to Wests Tigers Macarthur Junior Rugby League for another successful event. Again this ticked all the boxes on a well run day. Also a final thank you to the Referees from the Western Suburbs Rugby League Referees Association for giving up their Sunday to come down and control the games. After Refereeing all day yesterday in a tough Round 15, coming down today and getting into the spirit by dressing up for the occasion. Mick, Brian, Bob, Dyl, Sia, Alyssa and Luke, just the best day team!!

Now our focus turns to the upcoming finals series. Where the best play the best for the next few weeks. The footy just keeps getting better and better.

Good Evening All!!

Thats it!!
Our 2026 regular Season has come to an end. Most of our Kids ended their Seasons today in Round 15. Some teams were still scrambling to try and win to secure their place in the Semi Finals while some teams took it a bit differently by not showcasing all the skills as their place in the Semis was assured already. But as I said, today the Season ended for many of our Juniors.

Congratulations to all the hosting Clubs who did it for the final time. Hope today was not only successful but also a bit of a relief. Thank you once again for always welcoming me in.

To all the Kids that finished up today. Enjoy the Summer. Keep in contact if you can. Relax and then rip into the Pre Season training and come back better than ever.

Our U8s and U12s will be ripping into tomorrow with their respective Gala Days so I would say it is an early night for them tonight.

To all the teams that are into the Semis next week. Make this weeks training sessions the most beneficial to you that you can. How you train is how you play. To all the teams that finished seeded #1 and #2 in their Division and have the week off, rest those niggles and try to relax the mental side of your game while you can.
