The Store Menangle have suffered a horrible tragedy today. Please give what you can, and share this fund-raiser.

Marcel & Shane are amazing people, who poured their heart and soul into the store.

They have now lost so much, after already having trouble this year with the roads being closed and the Store being hidden by roadworks.

Today has been one of the hardest days.

The fire at The Store Menangle came frighteningly close to my studio, and by some miracle, our room was spared from the flames themselves. While we are incredibly grateful for that, the damage left behind is still devastating.

Our studio has suffered significant smoke and water damage, and sadly many things cannot be saved. Furniture pieces, electrical items, decor, equipment, and even my beloved macro lens.

This little studio has held so many beautiful memories for so many families, so coming to terms with losing this space has been incredibly emotional.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be navigating finding a new studio to call home, replacing essential items, and outsourcing editing help while we work through everything behind the scenes.

Right now I’m trying to hold onto gratitude amongst the heartbreak. Grateful nobody was hurt, grateful the building still stands, and grateful for the incredible support already being shown by the community & the beautiful photographers who have offered use of their studios, props, equipment, and more.

Thank you for your patience, kindness and understanding while we navigate this unexpected chapter.
