It was such a treat to visit this beautiful open garden today in Deepdene thanks to
I loved the mix of perennials, trees, grasses etc that have created a wonderful range of colours, textures & movement. A haven for birds & insects as well.

Good morning! What to do on a cold Spring morning in recovery?
Having completed my rehab exercises, I’m enjoying some sewing, with the best company next to me - although sometimes a bit too close!! 💕

This book was recommended to me by a friend who thought it would be a good read for me while I recover from my accident & I have to say that it’s been hard to put it down!

A truly fascinating insight into how men and women have told their stories through sewing, or embroidery.

Whether or not you enjoy sewing, this is a very interesting read & I’ve learned how sewing has been used as an invaluable means of communication all across the world for centuries.

It’s wonderful to be home and starting my recovery. Looking forward to getting back to normal. These items will be every day companions over the coming months! Happy days 🙂
