Good people I would take this time to thank you for your support with this group. It has however become necessary for a variety of reasons to close down this page abd that will be happening in about one week from now

Between 0925 and 0948 hours on Wednesday 19 July 2023 I was at Happy Valley when I took these shots of what I would think were my shots of the day with this lady and separately this chap. If anyone knows who these surfers are, please tag them. Thanks guys.

Guys there is some good news and alas some bad news. First the good news. I have formed a new a Facebook Group named as follows:-

Lawrie’s Coastal Pics.

This is a group as follows:

Lawrie’s Coastal Pics is a place for partners, husbands, wife’s and all all the rest in addition to family members where we can share our enjoyment with surfing, body boarding and all over water sports. It’s not about being the best, who who can gain the complete enjoyment of the water sports and beaches around Caloundra and the Sunshine Coast. You can share your photos and make this group a happy place for us all.

Now the not so good news. For several reasons I have decided that in the coming weeks I will close this site down.

The photographs that I take will still be published and displayed at Lawrie’s Coastal Pics and please feel free to join that group and enjoy. Of course I would also request that you feel free to display and surfing photos that you may feel comfortable publishing.

Thanks good people for you backing and support over the years and as I said, I hope to see you at Lawrie’s Coastal Pic.

Tuesday 4 July 2023 between 0920 and 0957 hours close to the groyne at Happy Valley where the waves were happening. Some were difficult to ride and others were made for ripping. It was an interesting close to 40 minutes between rain showers watching these surfers. If you know these surfers please tag them guys.

It was 0846 hours on Saturday 1 July 2023 and this young lady was receiving I believe a surfing lesson at Happy Vallwy in the gentle conditions. Saturday 24 June 2023 between 0714 and 0840 hours at Happy Valley where the waves were relatively gentle and suited those of varying experience. Caitlin Jones and the groms were right into it and making a meal from most waves that came along. Enjoy good people.
