Today Buzz headed out to check on his feather friends and decided to get up close and personal and have a good look at the state of the vegetation on the sand build.
We spent some time going along each area and capturing a lot of plants, I must say they are looking pretty good with a lot of new growth and I am sure there will be more as we go into warmer months. I recognise pigface and the banksia tree but feel free to name others you recognise 😃👍
I think this is looking pretty good all things considering 👍😃

Buzz was on a mission this morning to see that our bird life is staying healthy because of the very concerning Bird Flu epidemic that is slowly finding its way around our coastline. I really hope we don't lose too many animals from this bug 😞 🤞💙

This morning we noticed the council has made a good effort in protecting these big pine trees that were previously losing a lot of sand at the root base.
Thank you Sunshine Coast Council for making a great effort to save these big guys. 💯👍😃

🌟 Sunday Spud Run! 🥔😋

Today Tina and I had the pleasure of meeting Petra and Eugene at their Baked AT van, set up at Tyrepower Caloundra every Sunday from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

We’ve driven past here so many times, and I’ve been saying to Tina, “We really must stop and try those spuds one day!” 😂 Well, today was the day… and let me tell you, we were NOT disappointed! 😋👌

The meal was absolutely yummy, fresh and filling — and one serving was more than enough for both Tina and me! 😃👍

But the real highlight was meeting Petra. What an absolute ray of sunshine! ☀️😃 If you want to meet someone who instantly puts a smile on your face and leaves you with a happy heart, go and say hello to Petra. 💙

So, if you’re looking for a fresh, easy and delicious Sunday lunch, do yourself a favour and drop in to see the crew at Baked AT. Grab yourself a spud, have a chat and enjoy the smiles. 🥔😋

Sometimes the best little finds are the ones we drive past every day! ❤️
