I was thrilled to be awarded 3rd prize in the "Australia" category of the recent Underwater Awards Australasia 2025, with my image of a water lily forest in the Crater Lakes National Park.

The competition is open to underwater photographers from around the world capturing the beauty of the Australasian region. Thanks to the organizers for such an amazing opportunity and well done to all the prize winners and honourable mentions.

The former Mulgrave Shire Council Chambers, built in 1912, has been beautifully refurbished into a contemporary visual arts space.

It was great to see Ash Barty take out the Australian Open on the weekend and have her mentor, Evonne Goolagong Cawley, make a surprise appearance to present her with trophy.

This portrait is from a few years back, in the cane fields of Cairns south, highlighting the special bond between the two. It was also recently featured as part of a showcase at the National Museum of Australia, with tennis dresses worn by Ash and Evonne.
