This morning was spent walking around freshwater and saltwater (Centenary Lakes) with the Cairns Birdwatching Group.

Yesterday I spent some time in the Cairns Cemetery watching the Rainbow Bee-eaters. They are so busy at present catching food and delivering it to their burrows. They are very fast in their arrival and disappearance in order to avoid advertising to local predators the location of their chicks. The challenge was to attempt to predict their movements and capture them in flight. Taken Nikon 610 with Tamron 150-600mm V2
