GemFest is here! I will be photographing the festival this year and look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

🌧 Yes, it has been raining a lot in Lismore and the regular parking area at the Lismore Showgrounds is sodden and can not have traffic on it.
🚫 Many of the streets surrounding the showgrounds are NO Parking areas (please obey all parking signage).
🚗 There will be very very limited parking available at the Showgrounds.
👩‍🦽 Disable parking will be available beside all entry points as well as drop off points.
🚌 There will be a FREE SHUTTLE BUS operating from the Lismore Transit Centre to the Anzac Memorial at Alexandra Pde. Please consider using this service to help alleviate the pressure on parking at the showgrounds.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to be able to capture some beautiful moments for families in this area, but it’s always extra special to capture your friends. What a joy photographing the Pirlo family over the years has been, to be trusted with weddings and milestones.
I was really saddened to hear of Frank Pirlo’s passing. He really was a great man, a family man. Anyone who knows the Pirlo’s knows what a lovely group of people they all are, and that really is a reflection of the morals Frank and Naree instilled in their children. I’ve been blessed with such a beautiful friend in Emily, and her parents mean the absolute world to her. Seeing the way Frank looked at Em in her wedding dress for the first time and the love on his face was just so special.
Sending prayers and love to all the Pirlo’s tonight and for the days ahead.
