Rach in her Channel-inspired, hand made wedding dress & veil cape. Here’s an excerpt from their recent write up on Hello May:

“We made a mockup of the wedding dress using bed sheets and after a few alterations we had a final sewing pattern. We both loved how the veil was like a cape, it complimented the dress so nicely and created an insane silhouette for photos. And the fact that we could make the veil as long as we wanted (three metres to be exact) was also the best thing ever.”

Moments I’m particularly proud of capturing for Dan & Polly during their incredible backyard wedding in Twizel last year

Dan approached me with an equal love for film and all things retro / analog as I have, and expressed a huge fascination with documenting almost everything solely on 120, 35mm and super8. He even brought his own Mamiya RB67 along (on the tripod in the last shot) with a roll of slide film to use during their portraits by the lake. It was unreal.

This sequence is a collection of moments shot on Portra 400, Portra 800, expired Gold 100, Gold 200 and Vision3 50D, on the Contax 645, Olympus XA and Canon 514XL

Here are the numbers / statistics that made up my wedding photography season this year.

I thought this would be interesting information to breakdown and share, mainly so I can look back on this post in 12 months and track my business growth year to year.

If you can’t be bothered scrolling all the way through to the last slide let me just say that I am so grateful for everyone who has supported me and my business this year, whether through booking my services or just engaging with my stuff online, I appreciate each and every single one of you.
