One of the benefits of volunteering as an official for Rally Tasmania is getting up close to the action.

Fast cars + low shutter speeds + challenging lighting conditions = Bloody good fun!

Forgot how hard it can be to get a decent panning shot when you can't see the cars coming.

Nelson Falls, 30 minutes east of Queenstown, in the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park is a must-visit. A very short, very easy walk through a cool temperate rainforest leads you to this breathtaking sight.

The impressive Nelson Falls on Tasmania's west coast.
About a half-hour drive east of Queenstown on the Lyle Highway followed by a very short, very easy walk. This place is well worth a visit, the falls are much larger than most pictures make them seem.

Not many people are lucky enough to encounter a Platypus regularly, even fewer are lucky enough to have one living in a pond in their front yard.
My mum is one of those lucky few!

I think I have found a new favourite part of Tassie.
The Tasman Peninsula is a landscape photographers dream. Just hope I have done it some justice with this shot of the Tasman Sea cliffs.
