I am quickly thinking that animal photography is one of my favourite types of photography, I love catching the animals in their natural environment especially when it means I can catch them in situations like this one. I’d love this photo even more if the shutter speed had been quick enough to catch the rain as it fell but unfortunately its a slight blur in this! But on the bright side I love how grumpy he looks!
What is everyone thinking of my wildlife photos at the moment? Let me know in the comments below!

Now I am not usually one for street art, that said some of the street art in the cities in Australia are amazing! Take this for example, I honestly couldn’t tell you what it is that it is meant to be representing but I was drawn to it! I found it on one of the overpasses near the opera house and I decided to photograph it.
So all credit goes to the artist if by some utter miracle who ever did this happens to this this….well done I like your work! What does everyone else think of street art? Do you like it or hate it or simply don’t care 😂 let me know down below!

This is another photo from my trip to Sydney Zoo this time it’s from their meerkat section! I love meerkats they are always so playful and you never seem to see less than 3/4 at any given time!
Did you know that from 2 - 30 meerkats live together in packs in the wild and within these packs they will often assign job roles to one another, for example one meerkat may be the sentry, who’s job would be to sit up high and watch for any approaching dangers (very similar to what’s happening in this picture) other roles would include looking after their “pups” (the babies) or foraging for food! All in all a very cute little creature definitely in my top 10!

Recently I’ve been trying to use more of the manual settings on my camera and pictures like this one is the result! I’ve got to say in quite pleased with this one, as the colours make the overall picture pop in my opinion.
So one thing I can say that I prefer about Australia to the UK is definitely the lighting, here I don’t have to worry about my ISO or light levels as much so with this picture it was taken at 100 ISO which in the UK I personally struggled to get that low unless the light was exactly perfect at the time of the photo! The colours over here in not just the plant life but also in the wildlife and scenery is astonishing!
What do you all think of this picture? Let me know in the comments below and don’t forget to share it to your stories I appreciate the support!

Now this is definitely one of my favourite types of animals on the planet…the Lion! I don’t know why or what draws me to big cats but I’ve always had an interest in them and one day I want to get a photo of either a jaguar or a cheetah!
This particular photo was taken at Sydney zoo (Not to be confused with Taronga zoo as we did and then had to rush across the city in a Uber to make it in time😂) as the Lion was under the shelter attempting to hide from the scorching mid day sun! I really like the detail that the camera has caught in its eyes! What do you guys like the most? Let me know in the comments!

Hello from down under! My wife and myself have relocated to Australia so expect my pictures to start being drastically different from now on! I did take some time off last week to adjust to the new time zones and get used to things down here but I’m going to try and start posting on a more semi - regular posting schedule (days and times yet to be decided) so be sure to keep and eye out. Thanks again to all my regular followers who have asked where I’ve been as well it’s nice to be missed!
So for those who don’t know this is the Sydney Harbour bridge and can I start of by saying WOW myself! It’s absolutely stunning to look at and is probably the second most iconic structure in Sydney, (the first probably being quite obvious but more of that in later posts!)
So some facts about this particular bridge;
- Construction began in 1923 and took 9 years to complete, finishing in 1932 -
- It is (at time of writing) the 8th longest spanning arch bridge in the world -
- It is (at time of writing) the tallest steel arch bridge coming in at 134 meters from top to sea level -
- And finally it’s was added to the Australian National Heritage List on March 19th 2007 -
I loved taking this photo and I had so many options to choose from but this one stood out as both the flags were blowing away perfectly, the sky was a nice mixture of clouds and blue and one of the local ferries was speeding away adding some more features to the photo, what do you all think?

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you’re all enjoying the new year and making the most of 2022! So just in case you all didn’t see my story yesterday I am going to be doing some travelling over the next few days to start the next chapter of my life in….Australia! So if I don’t get back to you straight away please don’t get offended
I think since I’ve started my photography page I have found I have a real interest in taking photos of wildlife and birds, albeit I don’t actually post that many! I took this one while on my trip to London last month and while I was going for a walk around Hyde park. He happened to swim over and face me at the right time for the photo although he wasn’t too happy at how close I had gotten to him hence why he is hissing at me! I like this one because of how the white stands out so well against the blue of the water, what do you all think? Let me know in the comments below!

So this is another one from my London series. This is a picture of the National History museum. It's one of the three main major museums on Exhibition road in South Kensington, the others being the Science museum and the Albert and Victoria museum.
I absolutely love the architecture of the building simply because there are so many straight lines and the brick work stands out perfectly against the steadily darkening sky in the background. The towers are probably my favourite feature as they stand out the best and I find my eyes are drawn to them first, what do you all think? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Happy new year everyone! I hope you all had brilliant celebrations and stayed safe!
This is a bit of an emotional post for me, this is my cat that we had for three years, his name was Koba and it our first family pet that me and my wife bought. We had him from a kitten but due to the fact that we are moving to the other side of the world we had to give him to a family friend.
I love this picture of him that I took, it was when I first started to like talking photos of things and I thought it looked quite good to be honest! I haven’t really done many animal photos before and if I have I’ve never really been 100% on them but this one I love! What does everyone else think? Let me know in the comments below!

From what I've read on the internet there are four pillars and four niches each representing something different, the one shown in my photo represents Asia. I love the sculpture its so vivid!
This is by far one of my favourite pictures I've taken since I started out a few months ago. I absolutely love taking photos of buildings and structors such as this. What do you all think of it? Let me know in the comments below!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and spent time with love ones during the festive period!
So for as long as I've had my camera I have wanted to get a good photograph of a squirrel, now I'm not sure what the difference between the squirrel up in the north of England where I live, and the squirrels down in London where I took this photo are but this one all but climbed onto my camera as I took the photo!
I have to say I am very torn between architectural photography and wildlife photography as my favourite to take, what do you all think of the ones I have taken? Let me know in the comments below!

Happy Christmas Eve everyone! I hope you all have a lovely festive period and keep safe during these uncertain times! This will be my last post this side of Christmas so see you all shortly
So just down the road from where I live there is a small village that puts on a spectacular Christmas light show every year. Quite a few of the residents put all there lights up along about 6 houses all next to one another and it makes this beautiful display. It’s quite a sight to see and people passing through the village will slow down or stop entirely to take a look at the lights, just the kind of Christmas joy that we need at this time of year!
What is Christmas like where you are from? Do you celebrate Christmas? Let me know in the comments below I love to see how others celebrate the holidays! Merry Christmas everyone!
