This is the 3rd Prom I have captured for this beautiful family, I am beyond grateful, this is Jack's pre prom shoot, Here is their families story in their own words.

"Today we captured more than just photos — we captured a moment in time. Watching my son get ready for his prom is one of those bittersweet milestones that makes you realize how quickly the years have flown. It feels like only yesterday he was starting school, and now here he is, standing tall, confident, and ready to take on the next chapter.

This pre-prom shoot isn’t just about the suit and the smiles — it’s about celebrating the young man he’s become. The kindness, the humour, the determination, the future that lays before him — those are the things I’ll remember when I look back on these photos.

Renee, Our amazing photographer has captured this moment for our kids over the years, and today — my son’s pre-prom shoot completed the package. More than just photos, these are memories of the young man he’s become and a reminder of how quickly the years fly by. This day, this moment, made even more special with his sisters and brother-in-law travelling home to celebrate him. We are so proud of them all and excited for what’s ahead. Our hearts are full."

Meet Kennedy Jean Weller at 4 weeks old with a due date of the 9th of May, Kennedy Arrived early on the 19th of April.

“Our little Miss Kennedy Jean got her name from Shane’s pop his name was Kennedy murchie who passed away in 2015 but was also his mums maiden name & her middle name “Jean” was my nanna Ellen jean that passed away in 2023 we wanted something that had both our families names in it & they were both two people that where very close to us❤ unfortunately they will never get to meet her but we will definitely tell her stories when she gets older and asks where she got her names from❤”

This was such a cool surprise, but I will let my couple Will & Cassandra share their story….
“Will and I met on Tinder, and from our very first conversation, it felt like we’d known each other forever. Things moved quickly in the best way: we fell in love fast, shared laughs, many adventures, dreams and hopes for the future.

Last October, we traveled to Rome, a place that already felt magical but became even more special when Will proposed. It was in Rome that we started dreaming about something even more personal and meaningful, eloping in the UK rather than a traditional wedding. So, we began planning our secret wedding, just the two of us, wrapped up in love and adventure.

We kept it all to ourselves, savoring the excitement, and finally surprised everyone at our engagement party. As a slideshow of our memories played, we snuck in photos from our wedding. The room erupted with joy, love, and happy tears. It was the perfect way for us to do it all.”

In their own words.
“Growing up being the daughter of a cane farmer as a little girl I always wanted to grow up & start a family, maybe even one day have girls of my own. My other siblings had boys so I just thought maybe my life will just be boys as well but I got blessed with both & I want to share as much with my kids as possible.

I wanted photos done that represent what my childhood was about & tell them stories of about their families history. Being able to take them to watch there Poppy burn cane or just while he cuts cane & get them too see what I did when I was little.

Also this was our last baby, my mum and dad only have 2 granddaughters so I wanted to add a little touch of my family into the photos.”

I Loved Capturing Daniel & Elisha’s wedding, here is their story in their words.

“I don’t think there is anything we don’t love about each other. When we have challenges or things that may arise we talk about it together and work through whatever it may be.
We met at our work, Blackwater mine in May 2022.
From there, we started to travel to and from work together, quickly developed a friendship and love connection that was inevitable.
We every day express how much we love each other, and what we love about each other.
We feel like our souls were connected even before we met, that everything in our life was preparing us for that moment to meet. We have had to live the lives we have lead until that moment we met, to be the person we needed to be for each other from that very first day.
We are inseparable, we do everything together, we go everywhere together, we train at the gym together, eat, cook, work, go to appointments, we love each other’s company and always want to be together.
If for some reason we have to pick the kids up from school and we are not together, the kids will immediately ask where Daniel or I are, because they always see us together.
That is exactly how we want it; we never want to be apart.
We can feel each other’s emotions, even without speaking.
We share every feeling, every thought; we share everything with each other.
We are best friends, we are soulmates.
We take care of each other always and we always put each other first.
We love to always hold hands and be touching.
We can message each other at work and almost write the same thing to each other.
We hate to be apart and avoid it where ever possible.
Unfortunately work is the longest period of time we have to spend apart and we both dread having to swipe our work cards and walk away from each other for the shift.
It is not a nice feeling for either of us.
We will message each other often during our shift, because we miss each other so much.”

Indie I was honored to shoot for you again, here are your beautiful Mumma's words for you.... "For Twenty One years I have watched you grow into who you are today, from the netball lover, to the stubborn out spoken character. To say I’m proud is an understatement. From 100% attandence through school, to your first job at 14, Crew trainer at 15, School based traineeship at 16 and a full time job by 18 is just amazing. All your hard work has paid off, as your already onto your 3rd car 😂 and saving for your own home.
Not everyday you find someone like Indie, she is the most beautiful human, to have her in your life is a blessing that should be cherished.
Don’t ever stop reaching for the stars my girl.
Your one in a million 💝 Mum"

I was honoured to capture Bette's 70th, Here is a little about her in her own words.

"Bette Marguerite King nee Lawrence born on the 5th February 1955 in Brisbane and I'm the second youngest of six girls. Married Glen King on the 18th August 1973. Welcomed three beautiful children and now have nine wonderful grandchildren and one beautiful great granddaughter. So blessed."

Fifty peeks for this amazing Ladies 50th, I will let Debbie tell her story in her own words 🤓

“50 years ago in Sydney, Crown St Hospital on 1st Jan 1975 @ 7 mins past midnight. I was the first baby born in NSW in 1975 and the article on the front page of the paper dubbed me 'little miss 1975'
Turning 50 is a bit of a milestone, so I wanted to gather all of the people who have made an impact on my life over the years together in the same room to share my life celebration.
It was important for me to have photos with my loved ones. Individually and collectively so I could look back on them for years to come.
Photos tell a story, and I want to relive my party and the happiness I felt every time I look back on them.”
