Todays Flashback Friday is from 6 years ago when I followed the 'Cetus Star' sugar ship into the Port of Bundaberg. It was an amazing experience seeing the skilled Captain and crew working closely with the Tugboat operators to manoeuvre the massive ship into position against the port. 🚢

Sadly the 'Steven C' fishing trawler sank off Kirby Wall yesterday afternoon in the Burnett river after hitting a sand bar. Luckily all the crew members manage to get out safely and without injury. Hopefully the trawler can be righted soon, savaged and repaired.

A few months ago we were asked to capture all the action from the Netball Queensland Primary Schools Cup that were being held in Bundaberg. It was a great event and certainly highlighted the young netball talent that Queensland has.

One of the things that I love about my job is getting to tell amazing stories through video. 📹

We were recently approached by IMPACT Community Services to help tell the story of Sam.

Sam works at the New iMAGE Laundry and plays a big role in the quality control of the laundry.

When Sam first started at the laundry, she was struggling with some aspects of life, but with the help of IMPACT’s services, she is now blossoming.

Thanks to IMPACT for allowing me to tell Sam story.

I took the drone out to late last week and captured a sunset from the Elliott Heads River mouth. You can see North up as far as Bargara and South as far as Coonarr and Woodgate. I was keeping an eye out for whale whilst I was up with our coastline getting alot of whale activity throughout the day. 🐋
