A small shift around here 🤎

This hasn’t been an easy decision. Photographing families and all the little faces, expressions and personalities that come with them is such a huge part of what I love about this job and I love to share.

But the reality of AI and how quickly it’s evolving is scary, the latest court rulings relating to CSAM in the US is beyond comprehension. As someone with a public platform where I’m trusted with images of other people’s children, it’s something I want to take seriously.

NOTHING about the way I photograph your family will change. I’ll still capture all of it for you. Those are your beautiful memories to cherish. I’ll simply be a little more intentional about what I choose to share publicly from here on out.

A small change, but one that feels right at this time 🧡

I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings over the years, and lately I’ve been thinking about the ones that stay with me.

It’s never the perfect details or perfectly planned moments. It’s the people ✨

The ones who show up completely as themselves. Who laugh loudly, love openly and let their personalities spill into every part of the day.

And these two were exactly that. Absolutely glowinggg with love and joy, the kind you can feel through the photos.

A NEW CHAPTER 🤎

So much has changed since I first picked up a camera all those years ago.
My work, my life, the way I see moments and the stories I want to tell.

But the heart of it has always stayed the same.

Capturing people as they are. Loving deeply, laughing loudly, holding their babies close & being completely present in the moments that matter.

Creating something beautiful from the moments that one day, you’d give anything to step back into.

Over the years my work has grown, and somewhere along the way, so have I. So it felt like time for Coconut Photography to grow a little too.

A new look. The same brand. The same heart. And so many more stories still to tell 🫶🏼
