Okay Bundaberg… I’ve had an idea sitting in my head for WAY too long and I think it’s finally time to do it. 👀📸

Two complete strangers.

They’ve never met.

I put them together at golden hour, give them ridiculous little prompts to break the ice, and photograph what happens.

The face that started it all. 🤎🐾

Meet Nova — Chief Treat Tester, Director of Chaos and officially the very first face of The Goodest Studio.

I’ve wanted to bring pet photography into Rebecca Aimee Photography for such a long time, and seeing these finished images has made me SO excited for what’s coming. 🥹

Because they’re not just pets.

It’s the ridiculous expressions. The wonky ears. The head tilts. The grey hairs that seem to appear overnight. The personality that somehow takes over your entire house — and the little face you couldn’t imagine coming home without.

The Goodest Studio is about capturing that. 🤎

Beautiful, personality-filled portraits of the animals we love ridiculously hard.

Nova may have set the bar pretty high for our first session…

Although I can confirm there was significantly less sitting and significantly more treat negotiation happening behind the scenes than these photos suggest. 😂
