As some of you may be aware, earlier this year I began my studies to become a midwife. This has been a long term dream of mine, and I'm so excited to be finally pursuing it.

As part of my studies I'm required to follow 10 women throughout their pregnancies as continuity of care experiences. With each woman this will mean that I am there for at least 4 antenatal visits, the birth if possible & 2 postnatal visits.

As well as being a fantastic learning experience for myself, I am able to offer extra support and be a 'familiar face' throughout a woman's pregnancy. If you (or someone you know) are expecting a baby, located in the Bunbury area and are interested in having a student midwife supporting you, I'd love to hear from you

All women deserve to choose their preferred care provider during pregnancy. And continuity of care is so important for giving families a great start. Please consider emailing your local MP via the link below so that we can ensure that access to midwifery-led care is available for all families for now and the years to come
