A completely different perspective of Boyds Tower from above. From the ground, the tower dominates the landscape, but from the air you can truly appreciate the rugged beauty of this remote stretch of coastline.
The deep blue water, crashing whitewash and striking red rock formations surrounding the headland make this one of the most spectacular locations on the Sapphire Coast. Sitting alone on the edge of Twofold Bay, Boyds Tower almost feels lost in the wilderness despite standing here since 1847.
It’s amazing to think this isolated point once played a major role in Australia’s early maritime and whaling history.
