It's been a couple of very chilly mornings and I dragged myself out into the frost to take some photos down along the Tambo River in Bruthen, as well as fly the drone a bit. It's amazing how pretty weeds such as blackberry can look when covered in frost.

Last weekend, I headed up to Omeo for an incredible photography workshop with Jeff Freestone (Creative Light Photography ). We kicked off the morning in Omeo diving into composition, before chasing the elements in the afternoon. Walking through the wind and rain at Dinner Plain and Mount Hotham, hoping for those perfect, elusive foggy conditions, was an absolute highlight!

When it was time to unwind, I couldn't have picked a better spot than Little Livingstone Omeo. This beautiful tiny house sits right on Livingstone Creek. It’s the ultimate place to truly 'switch off,' listen to the babbling waters, and share a quiet moment with the local wildlife.

Emus in the fog.

While walking around in the fog up at Dinner Plain I came across this family of emus grazing in the open plain. Daddy emu kept an eye on me as I followed the group until the fog lifted and they headed off. What a wonderful experience! Now I just need to try and capture them in the snow and my heart will be full 😊
