To start 2026, I took a trip south to spend New Year with the Numbats and enjoy some serenity in the woodlands.

I was lucky enough to see a couple on this trip, and had a amazing encounter with this young male while he went about his morning looking for termites.

This encounter lasted 11 minutes, in which I took 181 images. These are my favourites.

These epic scenes of a summer storm sweeping over the jaw dropping landscape of the Cockburn Range are some of my favourites that I captured during the wet season in The Kimberley.

If you've ever experienced a wet season in the tropics, you'll understand the feels and experience that come with these images, and if you havent, I'd reccommend the tropical summer to everyone!!

These 4 images bring my little 'smoke filled skies' collection to an end, and offer a final perspective, from ground level.

It has been fun to play with the calm conditions, smoky sunsets and different camera equipment to show a variety of perspectives from the same location.

Thank you as always for the kind comments and feedback about the shots. I love showing this part of the world to you all, and hope to encourage everyone to get outdoors more and hopefully come and visit Broome one day! ❤️

It feels so great to be back home in Broome after almost 6 months away photographing the rest of the country!

I've got terabyte's of new images to work through and share, but I couldn't not share some of my newest shots from the recent smoke filled sunsets we've had this week.

Prints available on request.

How good does Cable Beach look without any cars!?

This 7 image aerial panoramic captures the enormity of the 22km stretch of sand that makes up this beautiful beach.

The Wet Season! ⛈️

It's just over 3 months since I left WA and the tropical summer behind to photograph the other states in Australia.

I'm having the time of my life on the road right now, but i'm still getting fomo missing out on all the tropical storms at this time of year, so I've put together a collection of shots that I took in the run up to leaving Broome at the end of last year!! ⛈️

In the weeks running up to leaving Broome at the end of last year, we had a lot of build up storms sweeping across the sand dunes north along Cable Beach.

This collection shows a few of my favourites from sending the drone into some sketchy skies to capture some big perspectives over this amazing area!

My first post from 2025 comes from a couple of early morning flights above the banks of the Ord River.

I had an awesome couple of weeks shooting in and around Kununurra to bring 2024 to an end, and wanted to share this little collection of favourites I took of some of the Ord River residents. 🐊

December in Broome usually produces our first storms for the wet season, which is why I chose this serenely sinister storm front to be December in my 2025 Calendar.

Taken back in 2022, it's one of the many images I chose not to publish straight away as I wanted to let the excitement of thinking I'd captured something so awesome to settle and not have to rush to post it to social media.

I truly love this shot. The simple composition, full of detail, colour, and contrast of a unique immortalised moment from one of my favourite places in !! ⛈️

This year, I've had 3 trips to Broomes' closest neighbouring town, Derby, with the primary focus of capturing its iconic Boab Trees.

It's a place I've never spent too much time, but I really enjoyed getting a little more familiar with the town, its locals, and some of its surroundings.

These shots are some of my favourites from my time there, camping out under a sky full of stars, watching the light change throughout the day while enjoying good coffee, and mesmerising local artwork!
