After posting about the Father's Day Minis I have coming up with Keeping Mum Carseldine & Virginia (which are booked out, yay!) I've decided to open up a few additional Father's Day Mini sessions on Friday afternoon the 21st August. Spots are very limited.

For this, I’m so excited to be collaborating with The Memory Press to create a beautiful Father’s Day keepsake to make these sessions extra special.

Recently I've had the pleasure of working with Autistic-ADHD Artist, Art Therapist, Arts-Based Researcher & Neuro-Affirming Educator, Chrissy of 🌿

Chrissy has created such a beautifully calm and welcoming environment in both her home and studio space. Photographing her space was a nice reminder that personal brand photography isn't just about faces, it's about the places, processes and details that make your work uniquely yours.

Because sometimes you just want beautiful family photos without turning it into a full-scale military operation involving snacks, bribes, outfit negotiations and someone crying before you even leave the house (usually a parent).

These sessions are short, relaxed, affordable, and made for families, couples and little ones wanting to capture this season of life as it is — messy hair, cheeky toddlers, cuddles, chaos and all.

Perfect for:
• documenting birthdays and milestones
• couples wanting some genuinely nice photos together for once
• an easy little afternoon activity with your kids
• updating family photos without the pressure of a full session

Going through postpartum for a second time feels different to the first. The days can feel long, but incredibly busy. The weeks go so fast, but still some moments freeze time.

Watching my girls grow together and learn about each other feels sacred. It feels like something I want to share with the whole world, but also keep a secret just for our family.

As a mum, I see the pressure that's put on us to rush through this babyhood phase - get back to work, get back to earning, get our bodies 'back', to strive for those childhood milestones, to start daycare, plan schooling, and think about the future.

And I'm saying hold on. Just wait.

Hold on to the long days when all they want is you. Hold on to the 'Mummy, mummy, look at me!' moments. Embrace the contact naps. Hold their hand. Hold their BIG feelings. Hold them.

The world can wait a minute, while you soak up every ounce of this season you can.

Yes, it can be overwhelming, and some days it feels incredibly hard to hold it all together. Some days you simply can't, and that's ok too. You're doing a great job.
