I would love that hete in brisbane

In South Korea, some street art is designed to stay hidden…

Until it rains.

In Seoul, artists created rain-activated murals using special paint that only appears when the ground gets wet.

On dry days, the street looks ordinary.

But when rain starts falling, the pavement suddenly comes alive with colour.

Fish, turtles, and bright underwater scenes appear beneath people’s feet, turning grey rainy streets into something magical.

The project was designed to make monsoon season feel less gloomy and give people a reason to smile on rainy days.

Instead of hiding from the weather, the city used the rain itself as part of the artwork.

Most street art fades in the rain.

This one only exists because of it.
