I'm excited to share that this year I was nominated to take part in Rangefinder's 30 Rising Stars competition!
I wasn't selected as one of the 30 Finalists, but I'm still pretty happy with the fact I made it that far.
For those that don't know, each year Rangefinder mag put together a list of the Top 30 wedding photographers of that year who have been in full-time business for 5 years of less. The 30 photographers chosen are always all talented, inspiring, creative, and just an all-round solid bunch of wedding photographers.
It's through this competition that I've discovered a lot of my favourite photographers, including my own wedding photographer Kai! And ever since I found out about the Rangefinder 30 Rising Stars, it's been a goal of mine to be a finalist.
Here's the 30 photos I chose as my submission. I'm happy with my photography and proud of it, but I definitely know of areas where I need to improve, and I'm excited to put in the work for it too.
