The beauty of nature is being immortalised by - silver and gold hand crafted pieces inspired by Australian native flowers.

I have known artist Donna since high school days and she has always been a creative! Her work, studio and gardens are simply divine and I absolutely loved shooting these branding images for her.

Her work is exquisite and can be found online, at the GOMA markets and soon, directly from her studio at the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Loved our day together my Friend!

With each shoot, this guy just takes it to the next level and it's never boring!

He lives and breathes his company, choosing every stick of beautiful furniture, every rug, every vase - and every time we have massive shoot days, he is right beside his team pushing and pulling things around until it's just perfect.

CEO Joel is definitely a brand within a brand and it's one to be admired how he has grown both Eureka Furniture and Olive Grove Furniture to where they stand in the market today.

This shoot was in the beautiful Byron Bay hinterland and I had to get him in front of the camera a bit more than our usual sweaty Team shot at the end of the day! 🥵

Always looking forward to seeing what his next vision is! 📸❤️

One for the guys maybe? 🛩️✈️

Not sure but I do like to get a bit geeky with moving parts, how things work and generally seeing behind the scenes of places we would not normally go!

So jumped at being asked to do a full Branding and Recruitment shoot for GE Aerospace which was really interesting - I always get to 'learn on the job'. Asking dozens of questions like a little kid always provides more insight to taking better pictures and getting to know the importance of a person's job.

"What does this do? Where does that go? And then what happened!"

These guys fix and build bits for planes like propellers etc. Then there's the team that does more secret R and D work... I won't lie, that part went over my head! 😅

Passing these job skills down is extremely important as this is one of those 'safe' jobs for a while that AI won't be able to get it's hands on. Just yet at least...

Let's talk about the elephant in the room. 🐘

AI can generate a face. It can smooth skin, straighten ties and conjure a background that looks vaguely like a corner office. Impressive? Sure.

But is it believable???

Lately, we are questioning everything that we see online!

So... is it worth it? Hiring a real photographer in 2025 and beyond that is...

Here's what AI can't do —

It can't walk into a space, read the room, and quietly coax a nervous CEO into looking like they actually own the place. It can't crack the right joke at the right moment, adjust your posture with a word, or make you forget there's a camera pointed at your face.

Real people need real direction. Real brands need real faces. And real trust? That's built the moment a potential client lands on your profile and thinks "yes — that's exactly who I want to work with."

No ‘prompt' is writing that story for you.

After 30 years photographing executives, entrepreneurs and some seriously camera-shy humans — I can tell you the magic isn't in the megapixels. It's in the 15 minutes it takes to make you look like the most confident version of yourself.

So, is a passable AI substitute worth more than an image that's genuinely, unmistakably you?

Didn't think so.😘

This portrait concept was high time for my client St John's College at University of Queensland ever since I photographed it's very first female Warden and CEO Rose Alwyn about 7 years ago! Ideas were flowing right from the beginning... And I enjoyed every minute capturing these environmental portraits.

A celebration of distinguished and successful women all of whom have helped shaped the male dominated landscape of St John's College history ever since women were first 'allowed' to attend college 35 years ago. These women, including Rose have lead the way by example to all new young ladies who choose to engage and thrive in college life and study at UQ - achieveing anything they put their minds and hearts to.

My portrait series now hangs in the hall where traditionally only oil paintings of past male Warden's hang, and now I think everyone is pleased to see a little bit of life and colour infused into the space where everyone meets as one supportive community.

L to R - Dr Sasaka Bandaranayake, The Honorable Joan Sheldon AM, The Honorable Justice Debra Mullins AO, Kerry Holland and Dr Jane Williamson

Absolutely loved getting back to my Editorial photography roots for the very first edition of Life Magazine for my client Sundale Ltd
Fresh branding, direction, faces and love has been injected into these beautiful aged care facilities and homes at the Sunshine Coast and with that, comes the warmth and smiles from the residents and staff that shows and supports the local community and spirit.
Just a few of my favourite pages - check out the whole vibrant publication here https://www.sundale.org.au/community-events/

Congratulations to Tracey Gillinder Editor-in-Chief (as well!), CEO Cameron Taylor and the whole Sundale Team!
