Hey Townsville, I’m coming your way. 👋

I’m bringing the Belle-Vous bo***ir north for my first ever Townsville tour, and you’ve already been keeping me busy.

Most of the tour is now booked, with just 4 sessions left across September 18–21.

Once those four are gone, that’s it. Townsville is officially booked out.

So if you’ve been thinking about doing a bo***ir session, wondering if you’re brave enough, or just waiting for the right excuse…

Meet Matt 🖤

Let’s be honest, most of us are way harder on ourselves than we need to be.

We notice the things we don’t like.
The things we’d change.
The things we think everyone else is noticing too.

I’ve spent more than a decade behind the camera trying to change that, one photo at a time.

I started Belle-Vous in 2014 because I wanted people to see themselves the way I see them through my camera.

Not the version they’ve picked apart in the mirror.
Not the version they think they’re supposed to be.

The real one.
The confident one.
The playful one.
The sexy one.
The one that’s been there all along.

I’m not here to turn you into someone else.
I’m here to show you just how incredible the person you already are can look.
And honestly?
That’s why I still love doing this. 🖤

You don't need to know how to pose, what to wear, or have any idea what you're doing before you walk through the door.

That's my job. 😉

We'll put some music on, have a chat, and create something that feels completely you. Bring a suitcase full of outfits or just a couple of favourites, we'll figure out what photographs beautifully together.

The first few photos might feel a little awkward. Honestly? Almost everyone says that.

But then.....

You stop worrying about where your hands are. You forget there's a camera in the room. You start laughing, moving, feeling yourself... and that's where the magic happens.

My favourite moment is when you look at the back of the camera and your whole expression changes.

Okay Townsville, I’m coming your way. 👋

I’m Matthew, the photographer behind Belle-Vous Bo***ir, and I’m bringing my bo***ir studio north for my first ever Townsville tour.

Meet Matt

Most people are much harder on themselves than any camera will ever be.

I’ve spent over a decade trying to change that, one photo at a time.

I started Belle-Vous in 2014 because I wanted people to see what I see when I photograph them, not the things they pick apart in the mirror, or the version of themselves they’ve convinced themselves they’re supposed to be.

I’m not here to create some completely different version of you.

I’m here to show you the one that’s already there.

That’s really why I do this.

You don’t need to know what you’re doing when you walk through the door.

We’ll have a chat, put some music on, take our time and figure it out as we go.

You can bring a few outfits, but there’s no expectation that you’ll have everything planned. We’ll see what you like, what photographs well and what feels like you.

The first few photos might feel a little strange, that’s completely normal. Give it a little time and, usually, somewhere along the way you stop thinking about the camera quite so much.

That’s my favourite part of a session.

When it stops feeling like “I’m having my photo taken” and starts feeling like you’re just doing something for you.

There’ll be plenty of laughing, probably some questionable music choices, and hopefully a few moments where you look at the back of the camera and go.....

“Oh wow. I actually really love that"

10 retouched images

2 HOURS — $700
20 retouched images

4 HOURS — $900
40 retouched images

A 25% deposit secures your date and time.
