I’m speechless - actually speechless! I’m so thankful every single day that this, THIS, right here is my job! Families and photography are my two greatest passions and having received three Silver and one Bronze awards in the is an incredible achievement.

I made the Finals and cannot contain my emotions! It would not have been possible without the incredible families who allow me to capture their labour and delivery journeys - it is honestly THE most special part of my job.

I entered the 2020 International Photography Awards with the view to celebrate the intimacy and pure strength of this surrogacy birth and journey and I am so honoured to be able to represent them in this photo.

OK so I did a thing 🙈... This year I promised to challenge myself to enter birth photography competitions. I love, cherish & feel so incredibly honoured families choose me to capture the arrival of their babies. In my heart I love them all equally. This particular birth was just that little bit extra special. Surrogacy.. It was a planned home water birth, however this little lady had her own adgenda & honestly it couldn't have been more perfect! Born into her Daddy's arms ❤️ image number #240!! 😍
