In today’s digital world, there’s just something about seeing imagery in print and that’s exactly what MILE has set out to do — published in Czechia on local ecological wood-free offset paper, they have been featuring gorgeous weddings for over 5 years and I am now one of the lucky ones to grace their pages!!

Beauty in the process Holly Butler | Custom Gowns 🌸

It was so special getting to document Holly’s making-of her (many!!) gowns for her own wedding day looks and her guests — being a bridal couturier, this looked a little different to a typical fitting, but that much more special knowing that it’s her hard work paying off 🤍 With the helping hands of her mum, this was the loveliest of afternoons spent finessing the pieces and getting excited for the big day!! Sophie & James 💗

Back in November last year, I had the pleasure of capturing the story of these two lovebirds (and their fur baby!) alongside their guests 🏹

Nestled amongst the quaint country town of Trentham is a secret oasis of lush greenery and gardens, making it a perfect place to celebrate in the most relaxed of ways 🥂 and that they did!! From Sophie’s bejeweled-eggy-floral-bouquet, to her pink first look — she was a detailed delight. Then with some stunning ceremony florals to boot and James’ brown suit, they all harmonised perfectly 🤎

S&J decided to have some quality time before the ceremony, so we wandered the town and gardens for a while together capturing moments as we went. They then also wanted to enjoy the stunning afternoon light amongst what the gardens had to offer, so one outfit change later and off we went ✨

These are just a few of my favourite frames — almost impossible to choose and favouring a lot of film 🎞️ — to paint the picture of what was the most beautiful of days!!

Forever reminiscing this day 🥹 How excited we were to be featured by Vogue Australia!! Holly made TEN dresses in total (including four of her own!) and had the most beautiful vision for her day to marry the love of her life 🤍 With the most incredible set of vendors, set against the iconic — this was one of those special celebrations for the books 🥂

This was such a beautifully simple celebration on the iconic rooftop of during a warm Brisbane summer afternoon — These two wanted no fuss, delicious food, and a wedding that reflected their relaxed personalities, all the while nodding to their love of fashion through chic outfit details and sculptural florals 🏹 With a connection to film through Louise’s grandfather, I focused on this format during their time and loved the slower pace. These are just some of my fave moments captured with lots more to come of course! How sweet love is 🫶🏻

G&W 🌸

As the great Taylor Swift once said, “They say home is where the heart is, But God I love the English.” I wholeheartedly echo this sentiment after this incredible day in the UK countryside back in June last year 🦢

With an Etsy witch spell working overtime (and a knife in the ground just in case) Georgie & Will’s day was nothing short of a good time 🥂 Not only were their guests SO much fun, but the energy these two had was infectious. Emotions ran high (as did the margs) and I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face the whole day. Organised perfectly by — it was just such a joy to capture this celebration 🥰

These two actually stumbled upon me by the wild ways of the internet (they saw my reel go viral!!) and I’m so grateful to have crossed paths. Enjoy this little snippet!! And admire just how stunning Georgie is in this gown 😮‍💨🤍
