I still can’t work out why Australia is the only place in the world where it’s normal for a group of blokes to strip to their jocks at a wedding and everybody cheers. Wouldn’t have it any other way. 😂

Here’s some sneak peeks from Hannah and Lachy’s wedding day at in Esk. Rustic farm country, the kind of venue that does half the work for me before I’ve even unpacked my gear.

Lachy told me ahead of time he was camera shy and awkward. He was definitely not camera shy and awkward. He just needed the right kind of people around him. Hannah, on the other hand, didn’t need any coaxing in front of a camera in her life. Polar opposites. Completely in sync.

The prep was beautiful. The first looks landed exactly how you hope they do. And the ceremony had me quietly fighting tears behind the lens 🥹. When the reception arrived and the whole place just went for it. Friends and family fully, completely all in.

Some days the energy in the room does more than anything you could plan for. This was one of those days.

Hannah and Lachy, this one was a really good one!

A Brisbane wedding photographer’s best days look something like this. Candid, emotional, real. And occasionally pantless. 💛

Nahila and Rahman, loved being a part of this one. Some sneak peeks from a a two-day celebration that deserved to be up here a lot sooner!

Couple portraits through the Mt Coot-Tha Botanical Gardens before their reception at The Summit. Full disclosure: it was completely overcast the whole time. No golden hour, no dramatic sky, just a big flat grey Brisbane afternoon.

Though overcast meant no harsh shadows to dodge, no squinting, no chasing patches of shade. Everything goes soft and even, and the colours in those garden glow differently.

If you’re planning your Brisbane wedding and quietly stressing about what happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate, don’t. Just flick me a message✌️

These two lovebirds are getting married this weekend! 🥳

We’re down for two-days of celebration alongside with one of my favourite Brisbane wedding videographers

Photos from their engagement session at Roma Street Parklands a little while back. They came in a little shy, which is honestly how most couples start. But really calm and a little playful, once they settled in. The kind of session that just finds its own pace without you having to force anything 😊

There’s something about working with a couple who describe themselves as ‘not great in front of a camera’ and watching that completely dissolve the moment they stop thinking about whats happening.

Two days out now. Whatever nerves are left, they’re the good kind!

If you’ve been on the fence about booking an engagement shoot, just do it. It’s far more relaxed than whatever you’re imagining, and it does a lot more for you than just the photos.

I’m a Brisbane wedding photographer and videographer, and I shoot for couples who want their day to feel exactly like them. Engagement sessions, full weddings, two-day love fests, all of it! 💛

You can FEEL when a wedding hits different 💛

Jonica & Deece’s Sunshine Coast wedding was pure energy from start to finish, the kind where no one’s checking the time, the dance floor never really empties, and every moment just feels a little bit bigger than it should.

They kept it simple, ceremony in the gardens at Maroochydore, then a laidback reception at Woodford Golf Club. Nothing staged, nothing overdone, just real, raw and completely them.

My favourite photos are always the ones where you let go and trust the moment. That’s when your photos don’t just look good, they feel like something.

If you’re planning a Sunshine Coast or Brisbane wedding and want candid, natural wedding photography that actually captures the vibe, this is your sign 💛

Jacinta & Murphy Sneak Peeks - Cloudland, Brisbane.

The day didn’t start with champagne towers or perfectly curated chaos. It started in their unit. Shoes by the door. Half-packed bags. Mum running the vacuum like it was any other morning 😂 And that’s kind of the point.

The best weddings - the ones that stay with you; don’t begin when the music starts. They begin in the ordinary moments. The quiet ones. The real ones.

When we stepped into things shifted - for the better. If you’ve ever been there, you know it’s not just a venue — it’s an atmosphere. High ceilings, soft light cutting through the space, that balance of energy and elegance that somehow never feels overdone.

There were A LOT of smiles.
The kind that don’t need prompting - the best kind.
Nothing felt staged.
Nothing felt like a production.

Just moments unfolding: ceremony, hugs, laughter that lingered a little longer than expected… and a dance floor that properly kicked off once the formalities were done.

That’s the thing about weddings like this. When the day is built on real connection, you don’t need to force anything. It carries itself 💛

Capturing love in a place that’s about to change forever. Keen to see how Victoria Park will look after the Olympic precinct redevelopments.

Emily & Kurtis’ day at Osteria came with a little extra atmosphere; soft rain, moody skies, and that kind of energy you can’t manufacture.

And honestly? It didn’t dampen a thing.

If anything, it pulled everyone closer. More laughs under umbrellas. More hands held a little tighter. More “we’re in this together” kind of moments. The room felt warm, loud, alive — the kind of celebration where you forget about the weather because you’re too busy living it.

That’s the thing about days like this.
They’re not perfect on paper.
They’re perfect in feeling.

Rain on the windows. Cheers echoing through Osteria. Emily and Kurtis absolutely glowing 💛

Capitalising on the monkey to tell you we’re more than just photos and film.

Photographers and videographers are the ONLY vendors that will be with you through the WHOLE day.

So of course, you can trust us to steady the nerves, protect the timeline, read the room, and quietly solve the little things before they even reach you.

So you won’t be pulled out of the moment and actually get to live and experience it with the people you love.

Thats always been the Bloom way 💛🦧

Tamika & Jaiden’s wedding felt quiet in the best way. Not silent, just unhurried.

A simple registry ceremony. Riverlife as the sun dipped lower behind Kangaroo Point.

Nothing choreographed, just hands being held, laughter being felt and hugs that lasted a little longer than planned.

There’s a lot of noise around weddings these days. Trends. Styled shoots. Perfectly curated timelines. But the weddings that stay with me? They feel like this.

Honest.
Present.
Unperformed.

Years from now, they won’t remember the trends. They’ll remember how it felt to stand in front of their people and promise forever. And that’s the part worth protecting.

Rain wasn’t part of the plan for Jake and Steph’s intimate elopement in Flaxton. But umbrellas out, mist rolling through the hills, and zero stress about perfect conditions.

Just two people choosing to stay present, laugh through it, and trust the process.

Rain has a way of slowing everything down. People stand closer. Moments feel softer. And somehow, the memories land a little deeper.

Proof that a wet wedding day isn’t ruined. Sometimes it’s where the magic shows up 💛
