Our youngest daughter is pregnant with twins. The first set of 6 images were take at the very start of October (2025) while she was still fairly active & much easier for her to get around. The second set, taken mid December over quite a few hours, giving her plenty of rest between & during each pose & set up. Her Partner is a great support & is going to be a great Dad, alongside C as a great Mum :) Everyone is doing well so far & we can't wait for cuddles when the babes are hearthside

Well we nearly didn't go out tonight but thankfully we took the chance & wow did it pay off for us. Taken at a couple of different locations in Logan area, the storms did not disappoint. This is just some of the best images I captured, & the last 3 images are stacked so they have a number of the single images made into one, taken at the same spot within seconds or minutes of each other.

A few shots from the storm last night. When I started taking photos the storm was about 60kms away in a direct line, out near Boonah, heading north east. We only stayed until the wind picked up then headed home. We will go again today (27th) if we feel it's worth while. We had a severe storm/super cell come through on November 23rd in S.E QLD. There was hail up to around 8cm reported in some places near by, but luckily we were just on the edge of its path so got to watch it go past us with no damage or even rain. The storm however gave a great, very intense lightning show. These are just a few shots (the first 4 are stacked images with about 3-5 shots in each one). There are also more predicted for today & possibly tomorrow. This precious little girl is the newest bundle for Tammie & Paul. ( their story is in the comments of the last post which is their maternity session)
Little K was a long hoped for baby that finally arrived but not without a lot of scary waiting.
After months of nervousness, Tammie & Paul announced to the world that they were expecting baby number 2.
Tammie & Little K had a number of health issues including fetal growth restriction/intrauterine growth restriction where baby doesn't grow to meet milestones for gestation.
We organised their maternity session a little early & lucky we did as just a few days later, Tammie ended up with pre-eclampsia & Bub was born the day after they discovered it.
Born weighing in at a huge 1.63kg, (or approximately 3lb 5oz for us oldies,) she stayed in hospital a few weeks before being allowed home. Master A is a great big brother & Miss K is doing well now, & before we know it, we will be doing a first birthday cake-smash! T, P & A, might be recognisable from a few previous sessions. A maternity, newborn & 1st birthday Cake-smash. (I will leave a link in the comments to their first maternity shoot so you can read their story)
This is their second, long awaited maternity shoot.
It was done in September, a little earlier than usual, but it was pure luck we did it when we did as this precious little one came only a few days later in a big hurry. (Her pics & a little about her journey will be posted tomorrow)

Take the photo!

I know there are so many of us out there. And I hope this helps reframe it for you. Being in the moment is wonderful but capturing it is also truly something. We are storytellers and keepers of precious proof. And it matters.

Our little nephew has now turned 1! He had a great time smashing his cake, & spent a number of days celebrating with all different parts of his family, including 3 cakes to enjoy. These are a few of Baby K’s newborn photos & he is the baby of our nephew & niece who featured in the last post.
This gorgeous little guy is now due for his “Sitter session”, which, hopefully will be done in coming weeks.

All my sessions are special but this one is close to home, our nephew & niece(his partner).
This pregnancy was the sunshine after the rain, for a little brother sent by his heavenly sister who was born sleeping.
This shoot was done during a couple of hours escape from hospital “jail” back in August last year (in case you notice the hospital band on A’s arm) while A was on bed rest.
Thankfully after everything that happened baby K was delivered early but healthy not too long after this shoot. A few of his photos to come.
