Beautiful day for a hillclimb ! Day 2 of Round 5 of the MG Car Club of Qld Inc and Mt Cotton Hillclimb series was run in superb conditions today with a good field of entrants. Big thanks to the club, officials, volunteers and entrants for a good weekend of competition. Culling and sorting begins.......photos will be up on my website soon, hopefully by Wednesday.

Round 5 of the MG Car Club of Qld Inc and Mt Cotton Hillclimb series fired up today in some superb Spring weather. It was great to see some new and returning entries today. Looking forward to some good competition tomorrow. Here's a few from today.

Nice day to go to Tygum Lake today....so I did. The Logan City Marine Modellers were there on their midweek get together. There was very little breeze, the water was smooth so the power boats were going quick, a good mornings action. Here's some photos.

I got out to Tygum Lake this morning to shoot some birds and boats. Dull, crappy overcast weather but you get that. I haven't been for a few months and it took a couple of runs to get my eye in, these things are quick. Here's a few photos of the boats for the Logan City Marine Modellers

The weather held out nicely today, only a couple of tiny, very light showers drifted through. So, after the track dried out from rain last night, conditions were great for Sunday competition at Round 4 of MG Car Club of Qld Inc and Mt Cotton Hillclimb series. I'll be working through photos over the next couple of nights and do another post when they are up on my web site. Here's a few from today.

Round 4 of the MG Car Club of Qld Inc and Mt Cotton Hillclimb series got underway today. The weather was nice, overcast and warm'ish. I hope tomorrow is much the same even though we are supposed to get a bit of rain. Fingers crossed the BOM's "medium chance of showers, most likely in the morning and afternoon" is their usual made up bo****ks. Photos are coming, here are a few from today. I was having a slow shutter speed day today so missed getting a bit of off track action sharp but ya get that !

Day 3 of the Qld Hillclimb Championship held today in superb winter weather at the MG Car Club of Qld Inc and Mt Cotton Hillclimb circuit. The day went smoothly with only a couple of small delays, allowing entrants to get plenty of runs in over the weekend.
I took a few more photos than usual and it might take me a bit longer to sort through the keepers and the chuck aways. I hope to have them up by Wednesday night or Thursday arvo.
Thank you to the club, officials, volunteers and entrants for a great weekend of competition.
