Day 3 of the Qld Hillclimb Championship held today in superb winter weather at the MG Car Club of Qld Inc and Mt Cotton Hillclimb circuit. The day went smoothly with only a couple of small delays, allowing entrants to get plenty of runs in over the weekend.
I took a few more photos than usual and it might take me a bit longer to sort through the keepers and the chuck aways. I hope to have them up by Wednesday night or Thursday arvo.
Thank you to the club, officials, volunteers and entrants for a great weekend of competition.

Today is the first day of competitive runs at the Qld Hillclimb Championship of 2026 hosted by MG Car Club of Qld Inc and Mt Cotton Hillclimb. The weather was superb today and fingers crossed for more of the same tomorrow. There's some quick cars, gunna be a great meeting.

Round 3 of the MG Car Club of Qld Inc and Mt Cotton Hillclimb series run and done. The weather played nice all day until the last run of the day when the heavens opened up. I haven't been that wet in ages. Good fun.
Photos will be up on my website hopefully by Wednesday evening.

Round 3 of the MG Car Club of Qld Inc and Mt Cotton Hillclimb got under way today. The new left hander is going to provide some nice photo opportunities. Here's some photos from the first competitive run around the new layout - some front wheel lift, some rear wheel lift, some sideways in and the first "ohh p**p, missed it". Looking forward to tomorrow.

Round 2 of the MG Car Club of Qld Inc and Mt Cotton Hillclimb series was run this weekend. Sunday competition was interrupted a couple of times with some showers of rain but they passed quickly and racing got underway after only a couple of short delays.
I am processing photos and should have them up on my website by Wednesday evening, all going well.
