Eight years ago, I created November Photography for a University project, a name inspired by the song "November" by Gabrielle Aplin. At that time, I created a logo with a vintage camera and butterfly. But I never imagined just how much that simple idea would grow into something so meaningful.
Then, twelve months ago, I took a leap of faith. I left the security of my full-time job and decided to pursue my dream on my own terms. With nothing more than a $300 camera I had bought from Cash Converters and a heart full of ambition, I revamped my brand, shifting my focus to videography. I became November Videography, ready to document life’s most cherished moments in motion.
In these last twelve months, I have been fortunate enough to be a part of 16 beautiful weddings, and the journey has been nothing short of incredible. Each wedding has taught me so much, not only about the art of storytelling through video but about love, connection, and the beauty of shared moments. When I look back, it’s hard to believe how far I’ve come in just a year. From those early days of uncertainty to now being invited to capture the magic of these once-in-a-lifetime events, it’s a journey I never could have imagined.
To all the couples who placed their trust in me to document your most significant day, I am forever grateful. Thank you for believing in me when I was still finding my way, for letting me capture the laughter, the tears, the joy, and the love, even when I lacked experience. Your kind words and warm hugs at the end of the day meant more to me than you could know. You made me feel like a part of your story, and for that, I’m deeply honoured.
I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the incredible photographers I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Your generosity in sharing advice, tips, and simply offering a friendly face throughout the day made all the difference. You didn’t have to help, but you did, and I’ll always appreciate the kindness and community you extended to me.
To the other vendors—celebrants, MCs, hair and makeup artists, DJs, and everyone else—I’m so thankful for the smiles, the laughter, and the camaraderie we’ve shared. You all helped create a space where I felt welcome and supported, and I couldn’t have done this without you.
I still find it hard to believe how much has happened in such a short time. From the person with a dream and a second-hand camera to being part of something as special as a wedding day, I’m deeply humbled by the journey. But more than that, I’m incredibly thankful. To everyone who has been part of this adventure with me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Here’s to the future and the many more stories yet to be told.
This video is to say thank you to all of the brides that I've work with this year. To all the vendors that have been kind to me. And everyone who has support...
