I’ve had such a craving for colour lately.

I’ve seen a lot of brands bringing it back in and it’s been so fun to watch… and shoot.

Have you been seeing it too? What are your favs?

Thank you to the fun and fabulous Olivia Muir for this colour blocking moment.

One of the greatest privileges of working with clients long-term is getting to witness their growth.

This was my fourth brand shoot with Nurture Law, and without a doubt, their most elevated shoot yet.

When we first worked together, the team consisted of just three people. Today, founder Kelly Gatehouse leads a thriving team of nine incredible women who are redefining what a modern law firm can look and feel like.

As the team has grown, so too has the need for a strategic image library that reflects their professionalism, expertise and people-first approach.

For this shoot, we focused on creating a comprehensive collection of content that could be used across every area of the business. Team photographs, department imagery, individual headshots, lifestyle content and a curated library of brand stock imagery designed specifically for their website, social media, marketing materials and future growth.

One thing I love about working with Nurture Law is how intentionally they approach their visual identity. The team dresses in a carefully considered palette of brand colours and neutrals, which means every image feels cohesive, polished and unmistakably them.

The result is a gallery that feels confident, professional and approachable, while showcasing the incredible women behind the brand.

Because the strongest brands aren't built overnight.

They're built through consistency, evolution and showing up again and again as the business grows.

So it turns out I have been shooting a bunch of men lately, and I can’t tell you how happy I am that they’re finally getting on board with wanting to tell their brand stories and get amongst the online business community.

So often I have heard from men that they “just want a headshot”, when we all know that just doesn’t cut it anymore.

Tom is a king of socials! If you don’t follow him, you absolutely should. Not only is all his money and broking info spot on, he’s also bloody funny!

Go check out if you haven’t already.

This is main character energy in its finest, and he is definitely an icon in his industry

Still smiling after yesterday’s talk with Elysian Event Hire for Queensland Small Business Month.

What a room. So many incredible conversations, thoughtful questions, kind words and genuinely lovely humans building exciting things.

Thank you to everyone who came along, shared feedback, connected afterwards, or simply took the time to say hello. I walked away feeling so inspired by this community and very grateful to be part of it.

Also, huge thank you to the team at for creating such a beautiful event and having me involved.

Here’s to more visibility, bigger ideas, stronger brands and backing ourselves a little more loudly. ✨

I have had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful human for over 30 years now.

Most of that time she’s HATED it.

Not in a dramatic way. Just in the quiet, tense, “I don’t know what to do with my face” way that so many people feel in front of a camera and never say out loud.

She never asked me to stop. She just endured it. And somewhere over the years, without either of us really noticing, that shifted.

She still isn’t completely comfortable. But she doesn’t hate it anymore. And now she asks for shoots for her business, which honestly still makes my heart a little full every time.

Photographing her over three decades has taught me more about this work than almost anything else.

It taught me that trust is not something you can rush. It taught me to meet people exactly where they are, not where I think they should be or what I think they should look like. It taught me to read the tension that most people cannot see, the slightly held breath, the smile that is almost right but not quite, the moment just before someone relaxes into themselves.

And it taught me that when you finally get it right, when someone looks at a photo of themselves and actually sees themselves, it means everything.

Her latest shoot is my favourite we have ever done together. She looks so perfectly her. Relaxed. Her real smile. Clothes that are completely her but polished and professional at the same time.

And we’re already talking about her next shoot…instigated by her!

Squeaky I love you so much!!! Thank you so much for being my muse for all these years and entertaining your big sisters hobby till it became my career. I’m forever grateful .schoolofbirth.

I've been working with Great Southern Bank for several years now and I love it.

Each shoot is always so different, we have done everything from Corporate headshots to family photos and case studies.

The case studies are always my favourite; everyone knows I love the storytelling element in my photography. These allow me to get into the everyday lives of the people that use the bank, whether that is home loans, car loans, investment opportunities or small business startups.

As you can imagine, there are never-ending stories to tell about how us humans use money and create wealth for ourselves and our families.

This is the cover of the 2025 Annual Report. Such a cute family to work with.

I found this in my archives from 2023 and while I was super self conscious about how I looked in this video so I never used it, I still love the message.

Before a single photo is taken inside an Icon Era experience, we spend time here.

Going through your brand from the inside out.

Your colours and what they communicate to your ideal client. Your messaging, is it landing the way you intend, or is something getting lost? Your content pillars and whether your current imagery actually supports them. Where you are taking your business and what visual story needs to be told to get there.

Then we build a moodboard. Then a storyboard. Every single marketing angle is planned before we arrive on the day.

This is what separates a brand film and a gallery of on-brand images from a beautiful collection of photos, they are built with intention, built around strategy, and built to work for your business long after the day is done.

Curious what this process could look like for your brand? You know where to find me!
