The ocean didn’t make it easy this morning.

Waves were rolling in hard and everything felt a little more unpredictable than planned. But Rachel just took it as it came.

There’s something really special about sessions like this. No perfect conditions, no still water, just real moments, a little bit of movement, and a whole lot of quiet strength.

And honestly, I think the wildness made it even better.

There was something quietly meant-to-be about this session ✨

When Samantha discovered her baby would arrive in the year of the horse, it felt like more than just a detail, it felt like a thread to follow. A symbol of strength, freedom, and a life already carrying its own story. And so, we wove that meaning gently into this space.

And the fact that they travelled two hours just to be here, to trust me with something so personal, that is not something I take lightly. It’s something I carry with so much gratitude.

These are the kinds of moments that remind me, this isn’t just about photos.
It’s about meaning, connection, and the quiet ways we begin telling their story before they’ve even arrived 🤍

Wrapped in mist and quiet, Dove Lake became more than a backdrop.
