Pageant photography has been a rewarding chapter, but it’s time for a bit of a change. Over the past year, I’ve made the decision to significantly reduce the number of bookings I take on. While I’ve had the pleasure of working with many wonderful clients, I’ve also encountered an increasing number of sessions where basic preparation—such as competition appropriate hair, makeup, or wardrobe—has been overlooked, even for international events.

There seems to be a growing assumption that post-editing can fix everything, and while I always aim to deliver the highest quality work, the expectation to transform underprepared client photos into polished, international-standard headshots has become increasingly unsustainable—both creatively and mentally. It’s disheartening to spend hours carefully retouching only to have the final images filtered again through face editing apps.

Pageant headshots are an investment, and I’m incredibly grateful to those who treat them as such. If you’re someone who understands and values the craft, I’m still here—with limited availability. Having completed my Bachelor and Master’s degrees and now working full time teaching design at both high school and university levels, I’m excited to take my photography in a more creative direction.�
If you already have a confirmed booking with me, nothing changes. But for future sessions, I’ll be prioritising clients who are more closely aligned with my standards and approach… so watch this space! 🩷

[Repost] 7 weeks to go (6 weeks till I take off)… and the butterflies are officially kicking in!

In just 7 weeks, I’ll be stepping onto the international stage as Mrs Universal Petite Australia—on a cruise ship, in Florida (yes, it’s giving glam, goals, and a touch of glitter)!

Right now, it’s all the final touches:
Appearances. Dress fittings. Runway. Interview practice. And maybe… just a few more weights and stair climb sessions 💪

But beneath all the sparkle, this journey means the world to me.
It’s about showing that strength comes in all sizes and that you can rise, shine, and take up space, no matter how petite you are.

Let’s do this, Australia!

Hi everyone, please note that due to full-time work and upcoming travel commitments, I will have limited availability in the coming weeks. I will be taking some time off after the first week of June until mid-July so if you have an upcoming pageant and need photos please plan ahead of time. Any sessions between now and May 31st will be guaranteed delivery of photos before end of June, however, if you would like a session in the 1st week of June, please note that photos may not be delivered until mid-July onwards. Additionally, due to my limited availability, unfortunately I am unable to accept all bookings between now and June. Thanks for your continued love and support, it is always appreciated!! xox
