Official teaser for the Dads For Dads documentary, sharing the stories of fathers that have been through the ringer, only to conquer even more to raise money and awareness for men's mental health.

Please share this around wherever you can, we need more people keen for the full release. We need even more donations next year.

This project is proudly supported by BScSupplements The Pedla and Altra eyewear.

Shoutout to Above Gym Altitude for the location of the hurt locker. And to the sparkies they got my drone down from the roof...

This photo was taken 7am at the very end of the challenge. To say these insane mofos were barely awake is in understatement.

So, talk about a challenge in itself. So the the doco revolves around 24-hour fitness challenge. But it's not all physical, it's mental energy of the gods to even get through all of that. In-between each fitness block, was allotted time for the participants to reflect on what drives them to commit to such a challenge.

Turns out, I was part of that challenge whether liked it not. From my drone auto-landing on the door because I didn't chance the fly-zones around the venue.

That was just the start of so many roadblocks to get through the shoot.

And to top it off, a chuck of the footage is corrupted, and I'm hoping and praying that the recovery apps will work.

So, Johnnie who runs the Dads For Dads foundation has been watching me for the last 2 days stress over something that could not be avoided. I had to start thinking back to old days when there was never time to think of problems, only solutions, which Johnnie reminded me that it was the wrong mindset to be in.

Come to think of it, I've never been on a shoot that's gone 100% right; the best one could ever hope for was 60%, and that was being generous. The footage I still have the interview audio (THANK THE VIDEOGRAPHY GODS) still leaves me with enough to piece together an impactful story that I myself am sweating blood and tears to finish.

Thanks again for the opportunity, it's probably going to come out better than what we had initially envisioned.

TL;DR: It's never over until you say it is.

And thanks to all involved that made this event something to behold.

Hey everyone, Justin here. So, after some reassessments over life committments, the CCF crew has unfortunately split.

Now, you all might be thinking, "wait, what is this page again?" But, Controlled Chaos Films is not dead. After further talks, It's been mutually decided that because I have nothing better to do these days, I'll keep this ship floating, while Zac and Michael continue on their meteoric rise to directorial stardom.

I'm still dedicated to keeping this as collaborative as possible, and as weird and experimental as ever. I'll get back to the skits, but our original plan was to also start making short films, music videos for locals artists, and eventually, feature length films.

Now, we barely got started with the skits before the long hiatus, but stick with us. I'm currently getting some new crewmembers on board. And if you want to be involved in anyway, just shoutout.

Cheers and much love -
Justin
